Stanford, CA -- (Sports Network) - Josh Owens scored a game-high 21 points, leading four starters in double figures, as the Stanford Cardinal posted a 76-62 win over the Colorado Buffaloes as part of the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series. Lawrence Hill added 16 points and six rebounds, followed by Anthony Goods and Landry Fields with 15 and 10 points, respectively, for the Cardinal (4-0) as the squad remained undefeated. The Buffaloes (3-2) were paced by Dwight Thorne and Nate Tomlinson with 18 points apiece, while Austin Dufault tacked on 10 points. Stanford opened the game on a 9-2 run and never looked back, shooting 53.6 percent from the field to take a 42-32 advantage at the break. In the second half Colorado battled back with 59.1 percent shooting from the floor, but the visitors converted only 1-of-6 out on the perimeter in the frame, allowing the Cardinal to cruise to the 14-point decision.
