Bacteria Advisory Posted At Monterey Beach

Monterey Municipal Beach has been posted with an advisory due to high levels of bacteria.

Monterey County Department of Health officials announced on Wednesday that the levels of bacteria at the Municipal Beach were high enough to warrant the postings.

Health officials recommended that beachgoers not swim or come into contact with storm drain water.
