Several county courtrooms and court offices will be relocated during the current courthouse remodeling project, court officials said.

The following changes take effect on Tuesday:

  • Misdemeanor departments 6 and 7 will be relocated to Building 5 behind the County Government Center.
  • The Superior Court clerk's office and file viewing room will be relocated to the second floor of the west wing.
  • Court human resources and the court administrative office will be moved to the third floor of the west wing.

All buildings used by the Salinas court will continue to have a single, secured point of entry and those using the buildings will be subject to search.

For questions concerning the location of courtrooms, court offices or services, call the court receptionist at 831-775-5400, Ext. 0.
