Some Monterey County Courts Moving During Renovation
Visitors Will Still Be Subject To Search

SALINAS, Calif. -- Several county courtrooms and court offices will be relocated during the current courthouse remodeling project, court officials said.The following changes take effect on Tuesday:
All buildings used by the Salinas court will continue to have a single, secured point of entry and those using the buildings will be subject to search.For questions concerning the location of courtrooms, court offices or services, call the court receptionist at 831-775-5400, Ext. 0.
- Misdemeanor departments 6 and 7 will be relocated to Building 5 behind the County Government Center.
- The Superior Court clerk's office and file viewing room will be relocated to the second floor of the west wing.
- Court human resources and the court administrative office will be moved to the third floor of the west wing.
