SALINAS, Calif. -- A Salinas teacher was arrested Thursday on suspicion of multiple counts of child molestation and annoying children.Martin Luther King Academy teacher John Hawthorne, 42, was taken to Monterey County Jail.Police said they received a report on Friday that Hawthorne had allegedly molested at least one child.
Detectives conducted an investigation and discovered several alleged victims.Anyone with information about this case may call police at 831-758-7128.
