SANTA CRUZ, Calif. -- Hundreds of students followed through on a promise Tuesday to protest military recruiters on the campus of the University of California, Santa Cruz. For the second year in row, the protesters succeeded in getting the recruiters to pack up and leave a campus job fair early, but not before one of the students got arrested."This is kind of an unfortunate ending to this, because I think we're all fairly proud of the fact that we were able to get the military recruiters off campus, do it peacefully and let the other students go to the career fair that they wanted to," arrested student Konstanti Hordynski said.
Hordynski was later released and the rest of the job fair went on without incident.
