Students Return To Vandalized Campus
Graffiti Sprayed On Scotts Valley Campus

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. -- Students at Brook Knoll Elementary School returned to classes Tuesday after parent volunteers spent the weekend trying to repair damage done by vandals.Graffiti was sprayed all over the campus and several windows were knocked out.Administrators reassured frightened students that they would be safe on the campus.
"We've been working with each classroom teacher. We have been working with the school counselor and myself talking to kids about safety, about how they can be safe and really trying to support children," Principal Kathy Frandle said."Thank you" signs are also up around the campus.A reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Any with information is urged to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office.
